This Garden is ... All in the "Family"

This Garden is ...All in the "Family"

Growing up we spent most of time in the garden.  Whether we were at my childhood home or my (Grandma) Ma's house....the Spring garden was alway flooded with colors and brings back the fondest of childhood memories...
Phlox from my Mothers Garden....

Hens and Chicks from by Brother...Elton

Wisteria... transplanted from my Grandmother's garden...Love the beautiful shades of purple...the  sweet smell...

...and a blanket of blooms fill the air....

A Showy Azalea.... Knockout Rose from my hubby for our Anniversary...

...one of my favorite's...we just added last fall... "Buttercups" ....Growing up Ma always had vases and vases full of "Butercups" every Spring....

One of my Mother's favorites is the hosta... this beauty was transplanted.from my Mama Lexie's garden via my Mom...this is her rusty bucket..I just love it.

Working in the garden is another creative outlet... I love.  A garden to be proud of ..passed down from generation to generation...and enjoy fondly bcause it is... All in the "Family" .

Happy Spring,

Susan
